The Hewitt School, a private institution for girl's, located in Manhattan on East 75th through East 76th Streets,
between Park and Madison Avenues, offers full instructional classes from kindergarten through high school seniors,
all housed in two classical 18th century mansions. Our challenge was to give students and teachers the modern high tech educational tools without sacrificing the "Old World" mansion charm. |

Each student can hook their laptops into the school network which is connected to the teachers electronic whiteboard. Classroom notes are synced to laptops which students are able to access from their desks. Oak mould, doors, and lockers increase the warmth and are consistent to the original architectural details. | |
